We like avocado because is healthy and we love to prepare our own version of Guacamole dip.
It took a while until we found the right recipe for us, the right ingredients, not too sour and not too hot.
Here is the ingredients you need if you want to replicate our own version of guacamole:
– 2 avocado
– 1 spoon of olive oil
– 1 lemon (you will only squeeze 1 spoon of lemon juice or add more if you like it more sour)
– 2-3 cloves of garlic (depending on your taste)
– salt and pepper (you can also add chili for a hot version)
Be sure that your avocado is ripe – push gently the skin of the avocado to see if it is soft enough.
Cut the avocado into half, remove the seed and take the pulp with a spoon. Grind the avocado using a mortar and pestle until you have a nice even paste
Add then the salt, the crushed garlic cloves and the olive oil. Mix it until all ingredients are fully blended and then add the lemon juice. Taste it and add more lemon juice if needed.
That is it! Here is the result:
