Hello again friends and welcome to a new delicious recipe how to make article, this time we decided to make some delicious protein bites that you can enjoy eating a whole week. You can keep them in the fridge and they will be good to eat for the whole week.
This recipe has milk and biscuits in it but if you want a vegetarian recipe just don’t add the biscuits and replace the milk with soy or almond milk and you will get then a full vegetarian or raw vegan protein bites recipe.
The good thing about this receipt is that it does not require too many ingredients and you can easily find all the ingredients at your local groceries store and it is a no bake cookie recipe.
Here is the list of ingredients we used:
– 250 g of dates
– 100 g of walnut
– a tea cup of milk
– 4-5 tea biscuits
– 100 g of coconut flakes
That is it! And the preparation is under 10 minutes! Awesome!
Preparation: You need to remove first the pits from the dates, make sure that there is no nutshell or hard parts between the walnuts and add all the ingredients into a food processor for mincing and mixing the ingredients.
When the ingredients are minced and well mixed then put cold water in a bowl, wet your hands and start making small balls with your hands. The cold water prevents the ingredients sticking to your hands and you will be able to create nice round balls. Just roll the balls trough the coconut flakes and you will have a nice protein bite like the picture below…
When done rolling the protein bites just leave them for 10-15 minutes in the fridge so they will harden and they are ready to be served.
Those are called protein bites because the main ingredients used, especially the dates have high protein contents and they will be a sure energy booster for your day! The dates are also very sweet so you won’t be needing to add any sugar or sweeteners to this recipe.
Here is our final result. we hope you enjoyed this recipe and let us know if you have tried it at home.
