Food: Banoffee parfaits – delicious sweets

Hello everyone! After a long break we return with a blog post about a delicious recipe, something that is perfect for the holidays or if you have visitors: Banoffee parfaits.

This recipe is really a simple recipe to prepare and you and your guests will be delighted.

Here are the ingredients you need: sweet

– 1 can of sweetened condensed milk

– 150 g of simple biscuits

– topping whipped cream

– topping ornamental sweets

Preparation:

The long waiting part is the first part of the preparation, you need to boil the condensed milk can (unopened and with the paper label removed) in a water pan for about 4 hours on medium to low heat. After about 4 hours it should look like a caramel hard creme, see below.

The biscuits need to be crushed, we used a roller pin and a sealing bag to crush the biscuits easy and quick.

Place the crushed biscuits in small cups at the bottom of the cup, then add some cream from the boiled condensed milk, you can add here another thin layer of biscuits and then add whipped cream and on top. You can decorate with some sweet ornaments or small fruits. This time we used only sweet ornaments but you should want to add some sour fruits on top like forest fruits to balance out the sweet taste of the cream.

That is it! Really, really simple to prepare and delicious sweet. The only down side is the long waiting time to boil the condensed milk.
