Long time no see….
Yesterday night, just looking on Facebook I found this delicious cake that reminds me of my childhood and of course my husband LOVES chocolate so I had to bake it. We remembered that it is already a long time since we posted a delicious recipe so we just had to post this one.
I always look at the ingredients to see if I need lots of ingredients – especially sugar and to my surprise I only needed 2 tb spoons of sugar.
So here are the ingredients for this cake :
- 300 gr unsweetened cracker crumbs
- 2 tb cocoa powder
- 50 gr walnuts (optional)
- 200 ml milk
- 100 gr butter
- 2 tb sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tb all-purpose flour
Mix togeter in a bowl unsweetened cracker crumbs, walnuts and cocoa powder.
In a pan bake sugar, flour, vanilla and a little bit of milk , and mix them very well….it should become a white paste…
…then add the egg and put the rest of the milk to boil…
…then add the milk bit by bit and then the butter and continue to mix the paste, you will see that it will get harder.
Then take the mixture off the stove and add the mix of cracker crumbs, walnuts and cocoa powder.
This was all the hard part…now to the fun part.
From the mixture make some balls…in the shape of a small potato and roll them in cocoa powder and coconut flakes.
Let them in the freezer for maximum 30 minutes…and you are done…you can eat them.
Hope you will enjoy this sweet potatoes !
