We love to eat fish and we love salmon!!!
Today we decided to make one of our specialties: Oven salmon seasoned with spices and lemon and as garnish we chose something easy fries with rasped salted cheese. DELICIOUS and QUICK to be prepared (the whole meal will be ready in about 25 minutes)
Here is what you need:
– 2 pieces of fillet salmon
– 1 tea spoon of mixed spices for fish
– 1-2 tea spoons of soy sauce
– 1 lemon
– 1 oven bag
And for the fries:
– some potatoes
– salty cheese
First step is to anoint the salmon with the soy sauce and then add the special spices on it. Then rasp the skin of the lemon on top of that, put the salmon fillets into the oven bag (don’t forget to make some small holes into the top side of the bag with a toothpick) and add the oven bag in the oven at 200 °C and leave the it for about 20-25 minutes. (We used an electric oven)
If you have no oven bags you can just place the salmon in an oven tray and put it in the oven, in the bag the salmon is baked quicker…
Meanwhile peel the potatoes, cut them in small slices and wash them in cold water to get rid of the potatoes starch. Use some palm oil or coconut oil to fry the potatoes to add them a special flavor.
When all done just place the salmon on a plate, place the fries and rasp some salty cheese on top of the potatoes, cut the lemon in half and squeeze some lemon juice on the salmon…
